...80% of the hires we effected for HR leaders in 2016, and 84% of the hires we effected in 2017, were for roles that had been vacant for 6 months or longer. In some instances the companies had been attempting to source for the role directly. In other instances, a series of recruitment / headhunter firms had been engaged, with no success. Anecdotal evidence from our HR leader network is that this is a common occurrence.
