We're seeking a technically advanced C&B Leader for a well-resourced employer who is in growth mode. This person will span all workforce types for this unusually complex multinational company, operating within in a heavily regulated industry sector. Whilst the overall employee population is relatively small, the organisation is facing some unique challenges which means there will be no shortage of projects to be effected and work to be done!
Historically the countries & business units within this organisation have been quite disconnected from a C&B perspective, creating consistency issues in determining salary grading, bonus awards & benefits plans. The company today is keen to centralise these where appropriate, gain consistency & global synergies where appropriate, but also keep the flex to remain locally competitive.
This role has a high profile both regionally and around the world. It will be liaising on a daily basis with the board executives, business unit leaders, the global Director of HR, and HR managers around the world – so it’s directly accessing the key decision makers and shaping policy strategy.
Immediate priorities for this role include a comprehensive audit of country specific benefits, the development of more robust benefits frameworks that provide for global synergies, planning for ongoing growth, workforce mobility & retention, strategies to maximise commercial revenues; the establishment of performance linked pay frameworks; overhaul of executive compensation & global mobility plans; plus there is a swathe of other international projects in various stages of implementation to be addressed!
Right now all C&B initiatives are effected via HR stakeholders – so virtual team management skills will be key to succeed, and this person will have an equal focus on strategy, plan design & development plus operational implementation.
We have some flex on the workbase, either within Spain or a key LatAm country. This will be paid as a local package, and base salary will start from equivalent US$110,000, plus bonus plus package plus relocation if required. Regular travel between Europe, Argentina, Brazil and Mexico will be expected.
We need a professional who is technically proficient across both compensation and benefits plan design. A professional who has a consultative & engaged approach to communicating on C&B matters. Experience in supporting multiple countries around the world will be ideal. Experience working within a heavily regulated industry sector, ideally with emphasis on well educated, white collar employee groups will be highly regarded. Advanced written and verbal English will be essential; and this person will need to present credibly with gravitas to executive level stakeholders of multi-nationalities.
