Talent Acquisition Director - San Francisco, California - from $210,000 + STIP & LTIP & Relo

This role will lead a team of multi country talent acquisition specialists to deliver efficient TA services of quality, in order to achieve the company's ongoing growth plans.

Based from San Francisco, this person will need to design & develop sustainable programs that allow for successful hiring across a broad spectrum of workforce types, inclusive of graduate entry through to experienced and executive hires.  Key internal stakeholders will be Business Executives and their leadership teams, along with HR leaders within the USA and abroad.

There is an appetite to take the TA function beyond being simply an effective recruitment service.  Currently the team have reasonably good process and frameworks for day to day service delivery.  However, with an increasing scarcity of their niche skilled, globally scarce candidates, we need a holistically minded TA leader who can innovate on more pro-active, creative and resourceful solutions for finding, securing and keeping talent.

Thought leadership will be welcomed to improve upon the utilisation of tech, social media, AI, networks, referrals, employer branding, diversity initiatives, STEM candidate development, and "candidate experience".  The executive stakeholders are all keen to utilise quality data to determine trends, risks, delivery performance, hiring quality and more so this person will need to be comfortable with analytics.

Advanced English will be essential for both written and verbal presentations to Executive level leaders; and attention to detail, will of course be exceptional.  University degree plus other tertiary education qualifications are preferred.  Demonstrated success in working across international markets with cultural adaptation and sensitivity will be well regarded.  Direct TA experience within a pharma/biotech/engineering/life sciences/B2B (with high sales contract values) organisation will be well regarded - given the similarity of workforce and sector challenges being experienced by this hiring company.

A competitive salary and package, reflective of the west coast costs of living will be on offer, as will generous relocation support should a move be required.  This hire is available to US citizens and professionals who have immediate eligibility for a US work visa.
