Team management: Strong preference to continue as a leader/manager. Experience of managing teams of 10 to 50 dispersed across multiple geographies

Remits of particular interest: Leading the HR transformation of a business at Europe, EMEA or global level. Creating the compensation & benefits strategy to drive business strategy, then executing it on the ground, across Europe, EMEA or globally. Leading on the whole spectrum of HR solutions for mergers, acquisitions, outsourcing and/or divestitures.

Unique expertise: Has lived and worked across multiple jurisdictions and offers diverse HR expertise (HR overall; compensation & benefits for all levels; M&A/outsourcing; HR strategy & performance management; talent planning and management).

Commerciality: Strong evidence includes: creation of HR solutions for M&A/outsourcing, ie, outsourcing deals with a contract value of $2 billion annually across Europe/Middle East/Africa (due diligence; inscope employees; executive retention; transfer terms; labor relations; multi-year resource plans) where the HR design and costs were key in closing the deal. Has also had direct involvement with workforce transformation at scale and speed for competitiveness in skills and costs, including multi-country restructuring and surplus solutions avoiding costly separation packages.

Strengths: A pragmatic leader who can translate global business strategies into workforce results on the ground, at pace, with the extended HR team, the line and other functions (examples : transforming an executive team of 200 across Europe; HR solutions to close and then execute major deals in Europe and in Africa; revitalising performance management across a key business division globally).

Need to know: Has formal actuary qualifications, and started career as a consultant on compensation & benefits before taking on diverse and increasingly senior corporate HR leadership responsibilities.
