Global HR Business Partner/Executive - salary, STIP, hefty LTIP - California or Arizona base
ROLE FILLED - HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT OFFER
This company is in rapid growth mode, as a result of R&D investment creating new product lines, expansion into new markets, and an aggressive acquisition agenda.
Within this company, we have a division that is regarded as the most critical for leading on “future growth”; however its newly appointed divisional Business President has inherited a mish-mash of operating frameworks, and a number of subsidiaries that have historically been acquired but left to their own devices. As a result, we’re seeking a Global HR leader to partner with this Business President, to create some order from the chaos, to ensure a “one approach” where appropriate to gain efficiencies and economies of scale, and then build the frameworks that will allow this division to achieve successful and sustainable expansion plans.
This HR leader will need to manage, develop and inspire a small HR team - imprinting them with the need to present commercially viable solutions to their business stakeholders, and to provide proactive support on all staffing matters. This leader will need to work through a variety of acquisition harmonizations and integrations and create processes for easier M&A transactions in the future.
This HR leader will also need to consider compensation and performance management plans that attract, engage and retain niche skilled staff in a variety of markets around the world.
And whilst corporate HR policy and processes are still being developed, this HR leader can expect to own the full spectrum of HR responsibilities, and find resources to support and fulfill business demands, without any current access to internal CofE expertise.
Skills are we seeking for this high profile role:
Advanced commercial acumen, with an ability to influence through facts, data and analytics
Track record for building robust HR frameworks that have successfully scaled to support business growth
Exposure to M&A either from due diligence and/or integration & harmonization perspectives
Direct exposure to leading on effective organizational development along with developing L&D and talent management initiatives for an international workforce
Board level English for verbal and written presentations
A stable, salaried career history that shows clear career progression and professional development will be well regarded (unfortunately, career contractors will not be considered at this time)
Any direct exposure to driving LEAN methodologies and/or leading on Compensation & Benefits plan design would be useful
A significant work history within either the technology or semiconductor or associated industries is highly desirable
This is a high-profile role, paying from $180,000 base + bonus + excellent benefits package with a work base in ideally in San Francisco Bay or Phoenix, Arizona. Success will certainly provide many ongoing development & progression opportunities as the organization continues to scale.
This role is available to current US citizens/Green Card holders only - regrettably, we have no sponsorship or international relocation or 100% remote work options available for this role.
Occasional planned travel can be expected to Europe and Asia, so a current passport and full Covid vaccination status will be required.
Interviews are being scheduled currently with an appetite for this HR leader to commence ideally within Q3 of this year. Interested professionals can apply directly and confidentially via solutions@cartermorris.com quoting CMTS00275
