This role will suit a professional who has the courage and expertise to build a world class function that enables, rather than hampering mobility with unnecessary bureaucracy.

We are really seeking a thought leader - someone with a track record for technical knowledge across all aspects of mobility, but who has a flair for creating new frameworks to enable a higher standard of international assignments policy and process and experience. Someone who has mobility expertise beyond simply taxation advice and relocation support. A professional who has a flair for applying benefits that are non-traditional, but valuable to the modern employee. Who can create mobility programs that are appealing to a variety of generations, ethnicity and family structures. A leader who embraces technology and social media to support in efficient communications and mobility practices.

We have additional hiring criteria to share, but at a minimum our successful leader will offer:

  • Expert knowledge of cross border employment law and work visa requirements

  • A track record of enabling business actions, with a minimum of fuss and disruption

  • Proven consistency in achieving accuracy and compliance

  • At least 15 years of leading a team of global mobility experts and a history of successfully presenting mobility strategies to Board level stakeholders

  • Natural comfort for achieving data quality and consistency - this company has grown rapidly over a short span of time so you can expect to inherit a variety of processes, legacy systems and Excel spreadsheets!

  • Ability to harness virtual resources - whilst you’ll be managing a supporting team of mobility experts, there will be an ongoing requirement to work with HR peers, Business Leaders, and expats themselves; and you will need to engage and direct a variety of stakeholders to achieve results

  • Exceptional project management skills, with a need to identify both current and future trends for mobility and working practices around the world

  • Ideally, a history of working successfully across the complicated matrix of global, international companies, but also first-hand experience of the “getting stuck in” element that is part of any dynamic, rapid growth, constantly changing organisation.

  • Fluent English for written and verbal communication and presentation skills - with a need to influence and impress the C-Suite and peer HR leaders right from the outset. You will also need to successfully convey technical requirements to non-technical people on a daily basis!

We have good flex on salary & package, and will likely base this role from Delhi or possibly Dallas - our CHRO travels extensively between these 2 hub sites and would love to secure a leader who has a personal history of having lived and worked abroad extensively.  A professional who continues to offer ongoing personal mobility will be highly regarded.

This is a salaried, career role that will require regular international travel so a current passport will be essential. Unfortunately, career contractors will not be considered at this time.
