International Talent Acquisition Leader - Switzerland

ROLE FILLED - HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT OFFER

This global company continues to innovate for new products that are literally helping the wellbeing of people around the world. They’ve invested heavily in research and product development which has meant a significant suite of products have successfully “gone to market” with a healthy pipeline of more to come.

With a year on year company growth history, the talent acquisition team have been kept busy with attracting, engaging and recruiting; with many of these hires being for niche skilled manufacturing and scientific workforces. Day to day hiring delivery has been relatively successful to this point, but the need to take TA transformation “to the next level” will be critical to ensure ongoing success. Adoption of new technologies, hiring methodologies, updating employer branding, social media consistency, stronger talent pipelines, workforce planning, building frameworks for data led decision making, proactive scoping of new talent markets, thoughtfulness for talent mobility, development of “grow your own” programs, internal talent identification - these are just some of the many priorities in this role, in addition to being a role model and subject matter expert to an array of regional and global TA, HR and company executive stakeholders.

We need a holistically-minded TA leader who contributes ideas on more innovative and resourceful solutions for sourcing and hiring; and who can offer proven transformation expertise for building sustainable processes and frameworks and strategies that will allow this company to continue to be known as an “employer of choice”.

We have a “wish list” of expertise required from this person given the high profile and succession plans for this role, inclusive of:

  • Advanced English will be essential for both written and verbal presentations to Executive level leaders.

  • Fluent German language skills (and/or a willingness to upgrade to this) is preferred.

  • Given the PhD community within this key workforce, a reputable university degree or other tertiary education qualifications will be well regarded.

  • A track record of managing, developing and inspiring geographically scattered teams; along with successfully influencing and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.

  • A TA professional who has historically worked within a recruitment agency or RPO setting, in addition to data-driven in-house environments would be very comfortable in this kind of company culture - the executive stakeholders are all keen for factual analysis to determine trends, risks, delivery performance, hiring quality and more, so your numeracy and analytics skills will need to be exceptional.

  • Given the time-zones to be covered with this international role, a hybrid work-from-home and from key work sites in Switzerland arrangement is on offer, along with a Swiss employment contract , so we do need this person to be resident in Switzerland and we will provide relocation support.

A base salary from CHF 220,000 is on offer along with STIP, LTIP, and considerable additional benefits. Relocation support is on offer for current EU and UK citizens.

Additional career development options will be available to specialists who have an interest in working abroad in the future.

Interested TA leaders can apply directly and in confidence below. We are hosting interviews currently with a view to extending an employment offer in the coming weeks.
