International Talent Acquisition Leader - remote - bilingual

ROLE FILLED - HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT OFFER

This well resourced company is led by an executive team who “walk the talk” on the importance of family, health, wellbeing and career development. Just one of the reasons why one of our favourite CHRO’s was lured to join them recently.

The company has grown significantly since inception, and has plans to again double the size of its workforces and revenues in the immediate future. The appetite to invest heavily in HR and TA team capabilities to aid this growth, has led to the creation of this role for an experienced Talent Acquisition Leader. This person will need to develop and improve upon an existing team of operational recruiters, whilst providing developing TA strategy, process, frameworks and tools. As a key subject matter expert for TA this person will be the “go to” advisor for an array of HR and business management teams scattered across the USA and Canada.

Working closely with executive teams and the CHRO, this person will directly contribute to upgrading the entire TA service delivery model, acting as a commercially astute consulting partner to leaders who are hungry for proactive support and guidance. Immediate priorities for this role include audit, refinement and in many cases, the building and implementation of:

  • TA tech stack inclusive of analytics and metrics reporting; and technologies to reduce administration and tactical work

  • sourcing and talent pipelining of diverse and niche skilled candidate communities

  • employer value proposition and branding consistency

  • robust TA processes that achieve consistency and fairness in addition to legislative employment compliance across multiple states

  • tools for connectivity and collaboration to allow new employees to successfully onboard

  • workforce planning to maximise productivity, career pathways, and international work secondments

This person will need to have a natural curiosity with the ability to look at every TA tool, process and policy and questioning whether it is:

  • fit for purpose for a multi generational workforce?

  • driving desired behaviours and outcomes?

  • reflecting the culture of employee care beyond just legislative requirements?

  • enabling the attraction and engagement of diverse and niche skilled talent?

  • reinforcing DEI whilst remaining fair and equitable to other country markets?

  • scalable to flex to and facilitate ongoing expansion?

We are seeking an TA professional with strong all-round skills and a flair for proactive partnerships with data driven communities. The kind of TA professional who is prepared to handle a personal caseload of hiring projects in addition to owning all the other responsibilities of this role.

An ambitious professional will have opportunities to “bolt on” additional international site responsibilities as part of a career development plan, and possibilities to broaden into wider HR or Talent Management roles within the organisation.

Package includes a base salary starting from CAD170,000 (with options to increase depending on experience level) plus a annual performance bonus and exceptional healthcare benefits. Whilst the company is fully setup for remote working, monthly visits to Chicago and/or Montreal and/or other key sites in North America will be required. This role is only available to current Canadian citizens and we have strong preference for bilingual French/English language skills.

If this sounds like the challenge you've been seeking for your next career move, please do make contact directly and in confidence via solutions@cartermorris.com quoting CMTS00347. Interviews are being scheduled currently, with a view to an employment offer being extended this month.

Many job boards “scrape” websites to find job ads, tweak the content, and re-post them without permission to increase job seeker and potential advertiser appeal for their own site.
