Director level HR Business Partner Fr180,000 plus package - global HQ
HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT OFFER
This company has an immediate need for a senior level, Global HR Business Partner, who will take on a broad ranging role.
This person will lead a HR team inclusive of shared services specialists, whilst supporting a corporate functions workforce made up of many specialist skills that are highly in demand around the world.
The company is in growth mode, both through new product and service offerings, and through acquisition. It is key for us to hire a HR leader who knows how to enable senior leaders to achieve growth targets, rather than taking up their time needlessly with additional HR bureaucracy!
Leadership coaching, succession planning, enablement of intellectual property knowledge transfer, and management of expats are all key priorities for this role. Mentoring and developing existing HR team members to improve upon pro-active and quality service delivery; and improving on existing HR frameworks is another priority. Support for acquisition activity, and particularly for enabling successful integrations will be expected.
Given the very diverse workforce, this HR leader will need to be able to demonstrate exceptional cross-cultural sensitivity. Given the seniority of the workforce to be supported, this person will need advanced gravitas for presentation skills to ensure credibility. An HR leader with deep understanding of talent management will be well regarded in this environment.
The company culture is about pace, finding solutions (rather than dwelling on problems), collaboration, and amazing customer service. This is a private sector organisation committed to improving health options for its end customer group - as such they have the desire to help people running deeply through their cultural DNA.
Our ideal HR leader will have a track record of:
creating and leading high-performance HR teams
working across complex, matrix, multinational organisations at pace
influencing successfully with peers and indirect reports
fluent English and German written and verbal language skills (essential)
adapting to international legislations and cultures
stable work tenures showing clear career progression within previous employers (apologies, but contractors will not be considered for this role)
The business President is currently based in Switzerland, so preference will be given to HR leaders who can also work from that country. Regular travel can be expected with executive stakeholders situated across all continents.
Reporting immediately into a CHRO, this role will suit a HR leader who is ambitious, inspiring, leads by example, influences with data and facts (vs just emotion) and who can keep operational demands under control without distracting from strategic priorities. HR (and business) frameworks are still being developed and refined; so patience, flexibility, resilience and a "can do" persistence will be key to effecting change and improvements.
The generous package will include a six figure base salary plus STIP, benefits, and relocation support if required.
