Global Talent Acquisition Leader, from 220,000 base + package, Switzerland
ROLE FILLED - HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT OFFER
This market-leading multinational has a large and globally scattered talent acquisition team who are busy delivering hiring results relatively well, but who don’t have the capacity to really think through “future state”, scaleable efficiencies and points of authentic differentiation to ensure this company continues to attract niche skilled talent as an employer of choice.
As a result, we need a global TA Leader, who offers genuine creativity, thought leadership and expertise for all things related to talent acquisition. Ideally someone who has a keen interest in the broader talent management agenda for a full value chain business.
As the global leader for the TA function, you’ll be relied upon to identify and implement cutting edge TA methodologies, making full use of technology, social media, AI, network utilisation, referrals, “grow your own”, employer branding plus diversity & inclusion partnerships. You’ll have a broad-ranging knowledge of TA operations and varying TA models; with the ability to “join the dots” to help TA teams in various locations to achieve consistency and greater efficiencies, whilst ensuring that regulatory compliance and fair selection processes are adhered to. Your advisory expertise will be expected on short and long term workforce planning, succession plan coverage, talent gap strategies and staffing trends.
Reporting into a well regarded HR Leader (who has an advanced awareness of the critical importance of the TA function), other key internal stakeholders will be Business Executives and their leadership teams, Board level executives, and HR leaders across every continent. All are keen to utilise quality data to determine trends, risks, hiring quality and more.
We need an engaging, credible and collaborative TA leader who can inspire their own team and others, and who can operate with transparency, fairness, and an extreme level of self-organisation. Someone who has a natural flair for influencing through facts, data, and ROI.
Our ideal TA professional will be able to offer:
Advanced English for both written and verbal presentations to Executive level leaders with exceptional attention to detail.
A history of working within a data driven in-house environment - all stakeholders are keen for factual analysis to determine trends, risks, delivery performance, hiring quality and more.
An ability to translate complex data analytics into a commercial conversation whilst demonstrating ROI value.
Direct experience within complex matrix, truly international companies will be extremely useful to gain traction and credibility with key stakeholders quickly, and to pre-empt some of the challenges unique to this role.
Expertise for hiring ideally across the Americas, Africa, Asia and Europe, and possibly you’ll have a history of living across multiple continents within your own working career.
In return, you’ll be well rewarded financially, with genuine opportunities to build on the scope of your role and responsibilities, plus have the satisfaction of knowing that your skills, experience, and efforts are directly contributing to the company’s expansion for additional market share.
Given that C-suite stakeholders and existing workforces are literally scattered around the world, this role can be based from a secure, dedicated home office although post Covid restrictions, this person will also be expected to undertake planned travel across Europe, Asia and the USA. Ideally, with a cluster of key stakeholders based from Switzerland, this person has the option to also relocate into that country or will need to frequently visit those sites.
The package includes a base salary equivalent to circa CHF 220,000 plus package and relocation support to those who qualify for work visas within Switzerland.
This hire is available to UK, EU and/or US citizens. Interested TA experts can apply directly and in confidence via solutions@cartermorris.com; and quoting reference CMTS00314.
