HR and Recruitment Advisor - Basel, Switzerland

We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist with an interest in taking on broader HR projects. This role will commence on a 12-18 month fixed-term contract with a well-resourced healthcare sector employer in growth mode.
You will be working directly with an international HR VP and with regional HR leaders, to build and implement robust frameworks to achieve consistency of hiring across multiple European locations. In addition to your strategic input, you’ll personally be managing a caseload of end-to-end hiring requisitions, spanning corporate function roles plus niche R&D positions.
In addition, you’ll be the “right hand” person for this VP HR, so you’ll need the interest and bandwidth to support an array of HR administration and projects – the company is still quite young and needs to build out various programs for performance and talent management, reward, acquisition integrations and more.
An ability to work through a culture of constant change and ambiguity will be essential. The company still has many traits of the typical “start-up” enterprise culture due to its rapid growth through their acquisition model and simply doesn’t have an appetite for internal politics or people who are precious about staying within a formally structured job description – it really is about “all hands to the pump” so will suit someone who is prepared to work on getting day-to-day work done fast and well.
You’ll need to have advanced skills with all Microsoft tools, inclusive of Excel and Powerpoint. You’ll need business fluency level English, and any German or French will be a bonus.
With the international HR VP based in the Basel office, there is an appetite for this person to be physically present at the office, although there may be some flexibility for working from home on an ad-hoc basis. On offer is a base salary of circa CHF 80,000 (with some flex depending on experience level). This role is only available to current B or C permit Swiss residents or to Swiss nationals who are currently living within a reasonable daily commute of Basel city.
