When a company is growing at an exponential rate the need for first class TA experts is essential. Our hiring partner is successful, purpose-driven biotech that has seen rapid growth over the last 5 years. This company needs a TA specialist to recruit field sales and commercial experts to continue the company’s expansion plans.

You will manage your own demanding caseload with responsibility for the full recruiting life cycle and there will be plenty of opportunity for strategic input, ranging from maximizing sourcing support, developing graduate entry programs, and building on the employer brand within experienced and executive hires, whilst ensuring diversity of talent pools.  Key internal stakeholders will be Corporate and Commercial Business Executives and their leadership teams, along with HR leaders within the USA and abroad.  

Currently, the team has reasonably good processes and frameworks for day-to-day service delivery but could really get value from a holistically-minded TA specialist who can innovate, educate and inform the business on how to identify, secure and develop talent to secure long-term success. 

Thought leadership is essential for this role and you will be expected to understand the benefits and challenges of bringing technology to the forefront of the talent acquisition process.  There is a heavy emphasis on the use of social media and AI, referrals and networks, and external partner management to not only develop employer branding but also improve overall “candidate experience”.

Direct commercial and corporate TA experience within in a science-driven organization will be favored to gain traction and credibility with key stakeholders quickly.  

Advanced English will be essential for both written and verbal presentations to Executive level leaders, and attention to detail will need to be exceptional.  Given the PhD community within this key workforce, a reputable university degree plus other tertiary education qualifications will be well regarded.  

A TA professional who has historically worked within data-driven in-house environments would be very comfortable in this kind of company culture - the executive stakeholders are all keen for factual analysis to determine trends, risks, delivery performance, hiring quality, and more, so numeracy and analytics skills will need to be exceptional.

This is a hybrid home / office-based role with flex for fully remote work (and occasional travel), plus we can offer travel support and/or above-market relocation support into the New York City area, complete with exceptional annual bonus potential and package.
