HR Leader - Germany - from EUR 95,000 + package
HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT OFFER
We're seeking a HR professional for a large multinational company in growth mode. This person will be based in Frankfurt, reporting to an international HR Director based elsewhere in Europe.
The scope of the role will immediately cover Germany, but there is no shortage of challenge - the company plans to triple its size from hundreds to thousands of employees within the country in a short space of time, and we need a HR leader who can work with management teams to make that happen.
There is no shortage of work priorities inclusive of talent development, hiring, building more robust frameworks to allow for scale, and plenty of involvement with European and global projects as well!
Another priority, whilst managing a medium sized HR team, will be on engagement of the workforce across multiple sites within Germany - they have experienced significant change due to the company’s organic market growth, which is only going to increase over the coming months.
Advanced knowledge of German employment legislation will be critical, and a history of supporting retail workforces would be highly regarded. Fluent German and English language skills will be essential.
This person will need strong change and OD expertise, and if offering career mobility, this person will have excellent career progression potential within the company globally.
The culture for the HR team globally is interesting – more about having a solutions focus rather than being “policy police”.
I think realistically that whilst the aim is for HR to be a strategic support partner, the reality is that for now, with the transition of their HR model just starting, and HR systems still being developed; that an element of “hands on” work will be expected in the short term.
The salary will start from €95,000 plus package and relocation support if necessary.
