Director level HRBP – site role, Germany
This role is perfect for an ambitious HR professional who is solidly grounded in the workings of a competitive P&L focused manufacturing business. As an individual contributor with support from the newly formed HRBP team and CoE’s, this professional will take HR business partnering to "the next level" on a site that has a critically high level of importance in this global company.
This person will partner directly with the site leader and their leadership team; with responsibility for ensuring that regional and global business priorities are achieved through the creation of innovative, commercially viable, and relevant HR strategy and frameworks. This person will also be liaising and influencing HR counterparts locally and globally to ensure initiatives are effective, locally tailored and compliant.
The existing HR team is performing well for the fulfilment of HR administration and process and day to day service delivery; but they need to offer more proactive support to business leaders in an array of areas inclusive of talent attraction, engagement, retention; workforce productivity; reward competitiveness, talent pipelining; labour relations; leadership development; mobility; and career pathways. They will welcome mentoring and development from an accomplished HR leader. With ongoing growth on the agenda for both staffing and production outputs, the HR team have no shortage of projects ahead to ensure robust frameworks are in place to support sustainable and profitable expansion.
Many of the workforce have highly technical roles, so this person will need to be comfortable and credible in presenting data and qualified research analysis to support market trends, talent and reward recommendations. Advanced knowledge of local labour laws including working with work councils will be highly regarded - disputes are few, but when they do happen, they’re invariably complicated given the regulatory nature of this business.
This reputable company is well-resourced and its products are literally contributing to save the lives of people around the world - you should achieve great satisfaction from working in a mission-driven culture, and the company offers genuinely diverse career opportunities to its high-performance employees.
This role is open to German and EU citizens; and you will ideally be based in the Frankfurt region. However, significant relocation support from other locations within Germany and potentially the EU is available.
A genuine interest in being a true business partner will be key for this role, and an ambitious professional who offers global mobility should progress well within this complex multinational company. A base salary from €140,000 (with flex depending on experience) will be accompanied by performance bonuses, plus a very generous benefits package.
There's a realistic "wish list" of criteria for this hire over and beyond what is noted here so we're happy to elaborate to interested professionals.
