Global Corporate Talent Acquisition Director - California - from $200,000 + STIP & LTIP & relocation support

HIGH PERFORMANCE LEADER COMMENCED AFTER SUCCESSFUL EMPLOYMENT OFFER

It’s a model business case study. An “ordinary chap” has a poor experience. Realises its due to a hole in an established market. Addresses the gap, and creates a sensationally successful business within his home country. The company continues on to expand into neighbouring markets and generates multiple millions in revenues. Then the team realise the gap exists in other regions, and get set for supercharged expansion around the world.

With a proven formula for profitable growth, and extensive funding in hand after just 6 years of operations, the company needs to expand international leadership capabilities.

Thus the creation of this role, which will partner directly with a newly appointed Global Talent Acquisition VP, plus HR and Business Executives, to formulate and deliver on a broad ranging TA agenda inclusive of:

  • sourcing, attracting and hiring a range of leadership profiles befitting a multinational company spanning full life-cycle product chain, plus B2B and B2C services

  • management of executive level talent pools

  • design and implementation of creative sourcing and effective screening tools

  • development of EVP along with social media and branding campaigns

  • utilisation of technology and AI as appropriate

  • training and consulting for hiring leaders to maximise hiring & branding opportunities, and to enable effective workforce planning

  • refinement and consistency of hiring processes

  • introduction of useful metrics and tools to capture market intelligence

  • network creation and referral maximisation

  • mentoring and developing TA team members scattered globally

  • provision of research & data for talent risk management within new countries, and so much more.

In addition to this thought leadership we need this TA leader to “get stuck in” whenever required to ensure delivery of hiring results at all times. This high profile role will be instrumental in driving TA services with pace and quality in order to achieve the company’s significant and ongoing growth plans.

Immediately this role will be based from San Francisco, but we will welcome an international leader who offers future potential to relocate to Europe or Asia. Extensive travel should be expected, particularly in the first year as the TA function needs considerable work to be developed and matured.

We also need a leader who can work independently to drive through strategic interventions, who has the gravitas to manage an array of stakeholders and who will take a "future thinking" view to hiring and talent management.  Executive level communication skills will be key for both written and verbal presentations.   Advanced analytics and numeracy, tech and trend savvy, and attention to detail, will of course be essential.

Our ideal professional will have achieved:

  • University degree plus other tertiary education qualifications / professional development

  • Direct experience with Asian and European markets as well as hiring from and to other international markets

  • Successful track record in securing high performance corporate profiles from a range of commercial industry sectors

  • Historic success within a contingency and/or search and/or RPO firm in addition to an in-house TA career

Apologies but our hiring execs will not consider career contractors at this time. They are however very interested to speak with professionals who have worked within similarly fast paced growth environments with demonstrable success in high volume hiring.

A competitive package is on offer for this  role, inclusive of a hefty stock award which has the potential to be a “life changing” factor.
