Have also worked with Asian based Companies, with HQ in Hong Kong and Shanghai so have particular insights around culture and ways of working in those markets.

Salary expectations: From CHF 230,000 salary plus package

Workforce types directly supported: In depth experience with B2B commercial, natural resources, food and ingredients operations and manufacturing populations with plants based in Europe and globally (Asia, Africa, Americas). Strong European Works Council experience.

Current home country: Switzerland with mobility to work across Europe and the Middle East.

Mobility Considerations: EU, Swiss and Mercosur citizenship

Team management: Have managed up to 12 Director level colleagues and 82 indirect reports across Europe; though lately transformed the HR Organisation across EMEA to a more integrated team of 45, working in partnership with CoEs and HR Operations to deliver the People Strategy.

Current/recent employer: Worked with globally integrated natural resources, food and commodities brand names with revenues of up to US$ 70 billion annually and workforces of 50.000+. Have also worked successfully in smaller firms with global reach of circa 2.500 employees across 40 countries.

Remits of particular interest: Cross border roles with the opportunity to partner with Executive Teams on delivering the People & Transformation / Change agenda internationally. CPO-CHRO- Regional Head of HR- HRVP level responsibilities.

Unique expertise: Hands on experience in transformative M&A deals from due diligence to full integration, in one instance increasing the Business Unit headcount more than 3 times. Have provided the cultural transformations structure and compass for an ExCo responding to significant societal shifts. Can apply a change project management lens and approach to critical employee experience activities, and continue to create workplaces that work for all from an inclusiveness perspective.

Commerciality:

  • In a smaller international firm I enabled the restructuring of the pan-European HR department - onshoring talent acquisition and on boarding activities and leveraging technology which delivered annual savings of US£ 1 million.

  • Have deployed a globally integrated HR Operational Model with a regional flavour, with savings externally benchmarked that put the operations on the top 25% of HR comparable organizations from an operating cost and employee satisfaction perspective.

  • Have led Organizational Design, and restructuring M&A integration implementation during the course of 24 months with savings of US$ 14 million whilst maintaining employee engagement and increasing female representation in the workforce from 38% to 40.2%

Strengths: I have demonstrable success in developing and implementing cross functional change programs, aligning structures to organizational strategy, platforming the organization for future growth and success. I have substantial experience and a personal interest in leading major equity, diversity and inclusion strategies, designing and implementing interventions including processes, and KPI’s that ensure a path towards a workforce that better reflects society and becomes an integral part of business success.
