Hourly and/or daily rate expectations: Flexible dependant on contract type, length, location and conditions. Min base salary starting from GBP £500 pd / £120,000 pa plus package, incentive opportunities.

Workforce types directly supported: Employee populations of National, multi-ethnic, unionised and expatriate integrated workforces. Country specific workforces with wide ranging cultural and language influences in both Office and Remote locations. Managed workforces of up to 3,000 direct employees (with 15,000 beneficiaries) and 3,000+ subcontractor population and multiple department and project teams.

Current home country: UK - but able to relocate or commute as required across Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America, Africa

Mobility Considerations: UK passport (work and residence permits issued for international locations & assignments)

Team management: Up to 10 direct reports with the latest group role of (10 departments) 8 direct reports and approx 330 indirect employees & 500 subcontractors. A preference working as manager of departments and projects, but also equally able as sole contributor or support specialist.

Current/recent employer: Latest role: Company of annual revenue US$600 millions with FTE’s 2,500 plus 3,000 FTE contractors plus 3-5,000 project subcontractors. Have also worked for a company of annual revenues US$6bn with 120,000 employees globally

Remits of particular interest: Typically senior level HR roles reporting to company leadership, such as HR or Group Director, CHRO, head of...for National and International organisations. I am particularly interested to help where companies need my skills, abilities and experience to improve their HR and Administration teams and support services through improved management, alignment, restructuring and service delivery, whether for current, new or remote territories, acquisitions, major project delivery or struggling business turnarounds.

Unique expertise: Extensive cross functional experience across operations, commercial, HR and administration management gives me a unique ability to evaluate and align HR and business functions to company strategies and needs. A unique career in some very diverse locations and a personal empathy and ability to relate to people of all cultures and positions has provided repeated successes in employee motivation, team spirit, cultural change, pride and loyalty, alignment of stakeholder groups and achievement of objectives.

Commerciality: A career of many, many commercially oriented programmes of critical project delivery, budgetary controls and cost reduction. Examples: Group restructuring reducing Directorates from 26 to 16, controlled employee reduction and recruitment saving ~ US$5m pa. Review and rationalisation of consortium demands equalling $5-10m cost reduction. Medical cost reductions and reclamation of US$3m pa. Led regional operations securing 98% employee retention against group norm of 75%.

Strengths: A real ability to relate to all people, to translate ideas and goals, to get the best from them and deliver strategy, service, projects etc. From strategy to delivery, I can be hands on as needed in the support and development of my teams. I have a tremendous determination, integrity and commercial focus on business objectives, giving me the ability to drive through progress, change objectives and key projects.
