Salary expectations: From USD 225,000 + STI + LTI and comfortable with heavy use of variable performance-based pay.

Team management:  A trusted leader with whom talented people have wanted to work.  Have led global teams of Business Partner Directors, Managers and Individual Contributors, and Specialists in areas such as M&A, Policy, Talent Attraction, Employee Relations, Total Rewards.  Direct team sizes varied from 9 to 35 and indirect teams in the 50s. 

Current/recent employer: USD 5 billion revenue with 18,000 employees across 70 countries.  Prior International public companies ranged from USD 20 to 60 billion with 5,000 to 100,000 employees.

Remits of particular interest: Senior level Director or above as a trusted partner to the Executive team with full accountability for the strategic and operational results for a business, region, division, or line of business looking to change/ improve/ grow.  Remit may also include ownership of appropriate HR or business areas of specialty.

  • Have driven HR structure/ operational improvements and competence development programs across multiple businesses.

  • Along with SVP, developed and executed margin improvement (+10%) while revenue dropped (-20%) due to market drivers and improved HSSE results. Levers pulled were organization structure redesign, 40% leadership change, support cost and footprint reductions, sales refocus and product/service innovation.   

  • Have also driven changes to run HR with a business mindset, with examples of reduced Vendor costs ($1.5M) and releasing trapped cash ($10M).
