Primary specialism: Senior Level HRBP with extensive HR function and business ops transformation experience

Markets with deep expertise: Canadian born national with unusually deep knowledge of India and Asia Pacific countries in addition to Canada & USA. 

Languages : Fluent english and conversational for various Indian languages

Salary expectations: US base salary of $300,000 plus package

Workforce types directly supported: R&D (i.e. product engineering), IT, Business Operations, Customer Operations, Global Shared Services and Finance.  Some exposure to supporting Sales  & Marketing also.  

Current home country: Canada 

Mobility: Excellent flexibility across North America, also open to live again in Canada or India, and has a current work permit for India

Team management: Direct report team of 13 folks, and indirect of 100.  Is not wed to size of direct reports, believing more in "leadership through influence" 

Current/recent employer:  Tech sector employer circa 20,000 global employees and circa USD 10 billion annual revenues.  

Remits of particular interest:  Keen to continue in significant regional leadership posts, or to lead the HR function globally for a respected multinational

Unique expertise: Proven ability to successfully translate global culture across diverse countries and business lines, to help create world class, high performing organisations.  Track record of transforming business and leading change management "from the front".  Has spearheaded initiatives for diversity & inclusion, that have improved business performance and added to the bottomline.

Commerciality: Has led initiatives on talent acquisition process that increased hiring of mid-level women engineers by over 20%.  Has led on initiatives that have increased retention of top talent women by nearly 30%.

Strengths: Global leadership across geography, business lines and "business/customer journey".   Building high performing, happy and motivated HR teams. Leading change from the front with the courage to own any initial failures.  

Need to know:  Deep direct experience in North America and Asia Pac appears to have fine tuned this leader's ability to "think globally, but act locally".  Strong examples of pre-empting the many ways that a message or vision or motivation could be interpreted from HQ, and then implemented locally - and "building bridges" to enable consistency with corporate direction, whilst ensuring practices are relevant, sustainable and motivating to team members regionally.
